Considering Legal Action

After hearing that James Oldfield, second cousin to Johnny Robertson, has been misusing the name "Religious Review" to try and ambush the Salvation Army (what's that about?), this blog is considering pursuing legal action in the blog courts to try and get them to cease and dissist using our good name to pursue their evil ends.

The only problem is that there is no such thing as a blog court.  Hmm... maybe we will start one.  That way, we'll be the judge and the jury (much like Robertson and company), and we'll be able to go ahead and throw them in the multi-media slammer for life.  Of course, they'd have to be kept in solitary confinement so that they wouldn't cause problems in the pokey, but I don't think anyone would mind.

Seriously.  These men are so dishonest in their use of this "religious review" nonsense.  Someone needs to take out advertisements in all the local newspapers so that folks in churches in the WSGR viewing area would be prepared for them should they arrive with their lies and cameras.

Meanwhile, thanks to The Knight Shift blog for the recent shout out.  We love the way you stand up to the bully Robertson, Chris!  And for any of you curious cats - we aren't Chris, and Chris doesn't know us from Adam.  We're just a fan of his blog.

What is Religious Review?

What is Religious Review?  You already know that we love multi-media organizations and that we would seek to discuss and review religion and religious "thangs", especially in the Martinsville/Reidsville/Danville area.  You might also know that other organization uses our same name to weasel their way into churches in order to trick people into talking about things.
"Why is that a trick?" the other organization asks.  "What's wrong with our sticking a camera in people's faces and pretending that we are using it for something that we are not?"

They deal in misleading people.  If they told people who they really represent, folks would never talk to them, and they know it.  After all, who wants to use up their 15 minutes of fame on WSGR on Thursday night?  Not many, that's fer sure.

But who are we?  Well, to be honest, we're still figgerin' it out.  But, we're here to stay and we hope that you'll enjoy following things from here.  This much we promise - we aren't here to mislead or trick anyone.  We are up front about what we are and what we are not - and we are standing in opposition to the misleading tactics employed by that OTHER ORGANIZATION.

And they know who they are.
